Expensive to use.

Corrosive to skin and mucous membranes

a)     Obnoxious odor. User can be overcome with fumes.

b)     Irritating to skin.

c)     Can damage clothes, carpets and other fixtures.

3.

Becomes inactive in the presence of organic matter
a)     Area must be pre-cleaned to insure antimicrobial activity.
b)     Hard to dispense accurately.

4.

Unstable - short shelf life
a)     Looses effectiveness when stored in warm and hot areas.
b)     It degrades by ultraviolet light, (sun light).
c)     Loses strength when not kept in tightly closed containers.

5.

Dangerous fumes released when mixed with
a)     Ammonia
b)     Toilet bowl cleaners
c)     Rust removers
